Pasta is a staple food of traditional Italian Cuisine, made from a mixture of wheat flour (semolina), olive oil, egg salt that forms a dough that can be formed into a variety of size and shape
Variety of Pasta
- Spaghetti
- Is most often come across, shaped like a long stick without holes. It is suitably served with bolognese / carbonara sauce

- Looks like a spiral. Usually treated with a cream sauce with tomatoes and peas

- Orecchiette is a variety of homemade pasta typical of Apulia, a region of southern Italy, It's name comes from ti's shape, which resembles a small ear. In the vernacular of Taranto it is called recchietedd, or chiancharedd
